Emily Hollis MBE MUniv FCCT
Emily has devoted her career to enhancing educational opportunities for young people, earning her an MBE from the Queen, the SheInspires Lifetime Achievement Award, and an honorary master’s from the Open University (MUniv).
Emily is passionate about, and dedicated to, improving education, in particularly for those that are disadvantaged. She has been a headteacher of a special needs further education college and a primary & secondary school. Emily is now a Headteacher of a SEND school in Kent and Director of a SEND CIC.
Emily’s personal journey – having grown up on a council estate and been on the brink of homelessness as a teenager, fuels her passionate advocacy for social mobility and inclusion. Her life and work stand as a testament to her belief in the power of education and the importance of inclusion, making her an inspiring and invaluable advocate for First Star Scholars UK
