Refer a scholar

Do you know a young person in care who would thrive in a life-changing residential programme? Our scholars are nominated by professionals who recognise their potential and want to see them flourish.

Referring is simple: just complete our short referral form and tell us a bit about the young person’s strengths, needs and aspirations. We’ll take it from there—with sensitivity, care, and a commitment to building community around every scholar.

Frequently Asked Questions

We work primarily with care experienced young people. If someone falls outside that group but may benefit from our support, we are happy to explore options on a case by case basis.

Our programme welcomes children from Year 5 upwards. Group sessions are arranged by age so that activities and support are tailored to each stage of development.

You can email us, complete the form above or call for more information. We are here to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

Yes, the programme is funded at a level equivalent to the Pupil Premium Plus.

We will work with schools, Virtual Schools or local authorities to ensure funding is in place. While the true cost of supporting each scholar is significantly higher, this contribution enables us to deliver a rich, year-round experience including all residentials, food, transport, excursions, accommodation, and both one-to-one and group sessions. It represents exceptional value, and we work hard to fundraise throughout the year to make it possible.

Without the Pupil Premium Plus contribution, we simply couldn’t offer the programme. We’re incredibly grateful to the individuals and organisations who support our work, their belief in care-experienced young people makes everything we do possible.

Once we receive your referral, we will be in touch with you and the professionals around the young person to discuss next steps. We take time to understand each individual’s needs and make sure the programme is the right fit.
